Waypoint Analytical, a subsidiary of Nutrien, is the nation's largest agricultural and environmental laboratory network. The Seasonal Laboratory Technician will support the laboratory by following methodologies, performing analysis, and interpreting data from samples.

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze samples for a wide variety of testing procedures
Follow the outlined methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures for the tests assigned
Learn to operate and maintain scientific equipment/instrumentation
Document activities and report results in a concise and accurate manner
Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation
Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas
Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
Other duties as required

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of analytical method, instruments, general lab practices, and lab safety
Willingness and ability to work Day Shift (generally 8 am - 6 pm). Actual shift time will vary depending on business need
