Responsibilities
Owns configuration vision and roadmap for prioritized clinical domains aligning stakeholder needs, operational outcomes and regulatory needs
Applies design thinking and establishes and enforces configuration standards (patterns, naming conventions, reusable components, governed templates) to support consistency across markets / programs
Ensures configuration produces an intuitive front-end workflow experience, minimizing clicks, handoffs and reporting ambiguity
Serves as a strategic partner to leaders, facilitates governance and cross functional working sessions with product management to align to future state workflows and adoption plans
Communicates complex configuration tradeoffs clearly to business and clinical stakeholders, driving decisions with data and analytic feedback
Leads and develops a team of configuration analysts and administrators focusing on a high performance culture of accountability, speed, quality and continuous improvement
Establishes training and user acceptance testing assets and playbooks to ensure consistency and execution effectiveness
Creates and maintains configuration operational excellence practices including SLA dashboards, throughput and aging metrics, defect leakage, rework, and stakeholder satisfaction
Maintains change control, environment management, configuration audits and documentation
Ensures configuration supports audit readiness, policy alignment and compliance requirements
Improves system stability through root cause analysis, preventative controls and standardized QA/Testing artifacts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in technical or scientific discipline, or equivalent experience
5 years of healthcare operations or clinical systems configuration experience, preferably for a healthcare software product
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Data-driven operations mindset: ability to instrument work, manage SLA's and improve clinical throughput and quality
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives with tight timelines, complex dependencies and high-stakes changes (regulatory / client driven)
Self-motivated, detail and results-oriented
Strong analytical skills
Superior people skills to foster strong partnerships across a variety of business stakeholders including IS and Informatics team members
Preferred
Master's Degree
Clinical Licensure (Registered Nurse, BSN, MSN or MD)
