They are seeking a dynamic Director of Engineering to lead their plant engineering and facilities teams, driving process improvements and technology implementations to support growth and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage engineering, facilities, and maintenance managers, ensuring alignment with company goals

Hire, train, and develop high-performing engineering and technical staff

Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative and predictive maintenance program, including critical spare parts management and budget oversight

Drive the development of manufacturing process strategies and technology roadmaps

Manage capital projects and collaborate with third-party vendors to design and implement customized manufacturing solutions

Partner with operations, quality, and facilities teams to develop and standardize work instructions, safety protocols, and multi-layered auditing systems (including LOTO and OSHA standards)

Implement facility and process monitoring systems to ensure optimal uptime and reliability

Develop predictive production models to support production planning, staffing, and raw material procurement

Serve as a subject matter expert on plant engineering, automation, robotics, controls, and facility management

Build a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within engineering and operations

Ensure compliance with FDA, food safety, and regulatory standards
