Branch Chief
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is looking for a skilled manager to serve as Chief of the Mobile Sources Analysis Branch. The role involves overseeing data analysis related to transportation and mobile source emissions, as well as regulatory development for the Statewide Clean Aviation Initiative.

Responsibilities
Conducting data analysis related to assessing transportation and mobile source emissions
Responsible for regulatory development as part of the Statewide Clean Aviation Initiative
Modeling mobile source emissions and activities
Conducting scenario analysis to identify technologically feasible and cost-effective mobile source strategies for meeting California's clean air goals
Directing managers and staff to develop emission reduction programs for the aviation sector
Organizing, planning, directing, and supervising activities involving engineering and data analyses of emissions from the State’s on- and off-road mobile sources
Designing, maintaining, and periodically revising the State’s mobile source emissions inventory models
Assessing emission changes from new and existing control measures, emissions standards, and disruptive transportation technologies
