Responsibilities

Lead all accounting functions: general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets

Own the month-end and year-end close process; prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls; maintain accurate and timely reporting

Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections

Analyze cost structures, variances, and profitability by product line; recommend cost-saving initiatives

Manage ERP system data integrity and reporting; support system upgrades or process improvements

Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for annual audits and filings

Collaborate with plant leadership to monitor production KPIs, labor utilization, and material yields

Provide financial insights to support scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning

Assist in standard costing, BOM accuracy, and cost roll-ups; identify operational inefficiencies

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S) to reduce waste and improve throughput

Serve as a key liaison between finance and operations to ensure alignment on goals and performance metrics

Communicate financial results and operational impacts to ownership and management

Support strategic planning and growth initiatives for the business
