Responsibilities
Draft and respond to written discovery (interrogatories, requests for production, and admissions)
Conduct medical/employment record reviews to identify key case facts
Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
Support trial preparation , including drafting motions, preparing exhibits, and coordinating witnesses
Manage expert witnesses —selection, preparation, and testimony coordination
Provide clear, timely client updates and case status reports
Leverage cloud-based platforms and AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active admission to the California State Bar (required)
Minimum 3 years of commercial or civil litigation experience
Strong knowledge of litigation processes and procedural rules
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Familiarity with cloud-based litigation platforms and billing protocols
Strong communication skills —both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective at managing deadlines
