Responsibilities
Generate tool drawings to aid with the inspection of manufactured parts
Utilize SolidWorks to create or modify CAD models for manufacturing processes
Generate fixture drawings to aid with fixture preventative maintenance and trouble shooting
Generate tool paths as directed by lead engineers
Create and format documents using Microsoft Word and Excel for various purposes
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and improve product quality
Develop and maintain fixture spare parts inventory
Qualification
Required
Ability to read and understand G-code programming for CNC machines
Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
Understanding of hydraulic circuits as related to fixturing
Ability to work autonomously and with a goal-oriented mindset
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve fixture issues
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Work independently with limited supervision to meet goals and deadlines
Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling and moving items
Responding to public address system announcements
Walking and standing
Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds or more
