Research Assistant Professor
Impact Institute at Northwestern University is seeking a full-time non-tenure-eligible Research Assistant Professor to support ongoing research and coordination of the Sociostructural Implementation Science Initiative (SISCI). The role involves assisting with project collaboration, data integration, and advancing sociostructural interventions to reduce HIV disparities.
Research
Responsibilities
Assisting projects through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and expert consultation on dissemination and implementation science and sociostructural determinants of health models and methods
Data integration and analysis of implementation and effectiveness outcomes across projects
Advancing the field of sociostructural interventions to reduce HIV disparities and application of dissemination and implementation science methods leading to sustainment and scale-up
Leading and supporting grant submissions and progress reports
Overall program management
Supervision of junior staff
Providing support to facilitate data harmonization efforts
Overseeing coordination of all activities with the R01s
Assisting with the development of common data elements protocols
Providing mentoring and educational activities
Fostering interdisciplinary research collaborations
Qualification
Required
Doctoral degree in psychology, public health, or other social-behavioral or health sciences fields
Experience with and interest in mentoring junior staff and trainees
Experience with research project administration
Experience with National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant writing
Preferred
Demonstrated experience in social determinants of health
Experience in intervention development
Experience in implementation/dissemination science
