AAV Upstream Intern
AstraZeneca is seeking Junior and Master's Level students for a 10-week internship role at their Alexion: AstraZeneca Rare Disease site in Cambridge, MA. The role involves designing and executing studies to support ongoing process development and participating in lab organization and workflow improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities
Design and execute studies to support the ongoing process development for selected program(s)
Participate in lab organization/workflow improvement initiatives
Complete relevant documentation (production records, data analysis etc)
Qualification
Required
Junior and Master's Level students studying Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field
Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2026
Cell culture and aseptic technique required
US Work Authorization is required at time of application
Ability to report onsite to Cambridge, MA 5 days per week
Preferred
Transfection, Data analysis tools (GraphPad, JMP, Excel) preferred
Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design
