They are seeking a GiveSmart Technician to provide live service to clients during fundraising events, ensuring optimal fundraising value and administrative efficiency while troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.

Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding service to our nonprofit clients and execute amazing fundraising events and campaigns

Communicate effectively with the customer to understand fundraising details and requirements and be prepared to execute an agreed-upon plan

Leverage operation of GiveSmart platform to optimize fundraising value, administrative efficiency, and donor experience

Be an available and responsive primary on-call or on-site contact for the client and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during assigned event time

Complete ongoing training, knowledge assessments, and review materials to maintain expert knowledge of the GiveSmart platform

This is a part-time, hourly role that will generally work no more than 28 hours/week - typically 600 hours a year

+ Must have open availability during our peak seasons, especially on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings: Spring (March-June) and Fall (September-November)

Required

1-3 years related experience required in a related area, including customer service, technical support, non-profit sector, and/or event management

Must have a flexible work schedule, including the availability to work evenings and weekends

Demonstrated ability to use and learn basic office software applications and hardware devices

Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and follow up skills

Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service to clients and donors

Excellent time management skills and ability to set client boundaries

Ability to maintaining a calm and positive attitude in any circumstance

Ability to think critically and use sound judgement under urgency and time-pressure

Remote work environment - must have access to reliable internet connection and a quiet and professional workspace appropriate for audio or videoconference calls with customers

Extending viewing of computer screens

Work schedule fluctuates with client demand - majority of work completed during evening and weekend hours. Some day or overnight travel is required
