They are seeking an Insurance Data Entry Specialist to verify patient insurance coverage, enter data accurately, and update patient benefit information in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
Verifying patient insurance coverage, to ensure necessary procedures are covered by the patient’s dental insurance carrier
Responsible for entering data in an accurate manner
Timely updating patient benefit information in the organization’s insurance system, verifying accuracy of existing information
Speaking with insurance companies to resolve problems with provided patient coverage information
Qualification
Required
Self-motivated, very detail oriented and well organized
Able to type 36-40 wpm, ability to use 10 key is a plus
Ability to work efficiently under time constraints while handling large volume of work and maintaining accuracy
High School diploma or GED
Knowledge of dental terminology helpful but not required (will train right candidate)
Ability to navigate the internet and toggle between multiple sites
