Responsibilities

Creative Direction – Develop overarching event concepts, themes, and design narratives that align with client aspirations and brand standards

Client Engagement – Lead high-level design consultations with clients, translating their vision into compelling visual concepts and experiences

Design Development – Oversee the creation of design boards, floor plans, renderings, and material selections, ensuring cohesion across floral, décor, lighting, textiles, and custom builds

Cross-Functional and Vendor Collaboration – Partner with top-tier florists, production teams, rental companies, lighting designers, and other vendors to bring creative visions to life

Onsite Direction – Oversee design installations and staging during event setup, ensuring precision, artistry, and brand consistency

Budget Management – Work closely with production managers to create and manage design budgets, ensuring efficiency without compromising quality

Trend Leadership – Stay ahead of global design trends in luxury weddings, incorporating innovative concepts and materials into projects

Team Leadership – Manage and mentor the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and collaboration

Required

3+ years of high-end set or event design experience, preferably in the luxury wedding market. Architecture experience may offset a portion of the experience requirement

Proven portfolio showcasing sophisticated, large-scale event/set designs

Exceptional eye for detail, color theory, scale, and spatial composition

Strong leadership skills with experience managing creative teams

Excellent communication and presentation abilities with high-profile clientele

Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Vectorworks, SketchUp, or similar)

Ability to travel and work extended hours during event installations
