Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing
Develop, optimize, and maintain PySpark-based ETL pipelines running on Azure Databricks or Azure Synapse
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and design effective data solutions
Optimize existing data pipelines for performance and scalability
Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues to ensure reliable data delivery
Document data processes and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer with advanced proficiency in PySpark and Microsoft Azure Data Services
A minimum of 3 years of experience with ETL development, data transformation, and orchestration tools
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Preferred
Advanced proficiency with Databricks Platform
Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional (2025) certification
Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD
Experience with SQL Optimization and Query Tuning
Strong skills in communication, change management, project management, and storytelling
