Product Manager - Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
NPAworld is a solid company with a good track record in the El Dorado, AR area, and they are seeking a Plant Manager to lead their operations. The role involves fostering a safety-focused culture, providing operational leadership, and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while driving continuous improvement and productivity.

Responsibilities
Safety is priority! You will foster a safety focused culture
Leads all operation departments including; Production Engineers, Safety, Health & Environmental Manager, Maintenance and Quality Managers
Develops, coaches and leads managers by offering frequent feedback and examples on individual performance goals, developmental targets and additional career growth opportunities
Provide operational leadership by establishing strategies for growth, set stretch but achievable targets and monitor performance to target for each functional area
Champions a continuous improvement (CI) environment and supports the implementation and training of CI principles while overseeing the implementation of best practices across the plant
Develops and executes a plant budget of approximately $40M which includes; operating expenses and capital expenditures
Ensuring the plant is compliant with applicable laws, regulations and our companies policies and procedures
Act as company liaison with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies as well as community agencies
Ensures sites continued growth in productivity/efficiency by reviewing daily operations reports, performance chemicals P&L, Sales Reports and S&OP forecasts
Identifies capital projects and works with production managers and corporate engineering team around equipment requirements and justifications and capital budget requirements
Improve KPI’s by looking for opportunities to optimize operational efficiencies and cost
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required or history of working within a Tall Oil Refinery within management
Previous experience in a chemical plant is required
15+ years of increasing responsibility within plant operations
A commitment to safety, health and environmental stewardship
10+ years of leadership experience, coaching and developing high performing teams
Proven technical aptitude and the ability to learn complex processes both batch and continuous
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Experience with ISO (and other quality systems), SHE management programs such as process safety management and OSHA
Systems experience: DCS control and PI system knowledge, SAP or similar ERP, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capability of learning new programs
