Amrize is a company focused on supply chain solutions, and they are seeking a Terminal Operator to safely operate equipment for loading and unloading rail cars, boats, and trucks. The role involves maintaining equipment, ensuring order accuracy, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc

Carry out tasks related to loading/unloading material, both bulk and bagged, for rail, waterway, and road methods of transportation, as appropriate for the specific location

Understand and operate truck loading equipment

Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanical maintenance

Sample product from trucks and barges following company policies

Maintain accurate maintenance records on all terminal equipment

Perform clerical functions following the established guidelines for the recording of receipts, shipments and inventory records

Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors

Required

High School diploma/GED required

1-3 years relevant experience required

Basic knowledge about computers, Microsoft Office and SAP required

Preferred

Valid Driver's License

Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance

A good understanding of the basics of the cement manufacturing process or logistics is preferred

Demonstrates technical skills in Welding, Machine repair, and Basic Electricity
