Responsibilities
Performs work within projects that include ground up MOB’s, imaging centers, surgery centers and hospitals such as:
Daily activities within project delivery such as: site visits, site measurement and documentation, providing BlueBeam work during a meeting, and producing meeting minutes
Creates design plans, backgrounds, sets of drawings, finish palettes, construction documents, and documents for permit using firm standards with oversight from Project Team. Participates in client presentations of the same
Compiles data from site visits, field verifications, and component plans from a variety of formats (pdf, AutoCAD, Revit) into Revit
Maintains required documentation and project job books
Other responsibilities as assigned, such as assisting with Product Representative presentations, firm promotion, marketing of projects, social media
Mentors less experienced staff
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
Encouraged to take the NCIDQ or NCARB exam (based on readiness and the requirement for work hours and experience) or at least be logging hours toward taking exam
Encouraged to be certified in other related organizations of interest such as LEED, WELL or Evidence-Based Design
Working knowledge of Healthcare Industry codes and guidelines regarding construction components and design elements and the ability to research and apply those codes and standards, which include: FGI, ADA codes, Joint Commission Criteria
Displays proficiency in all areas of work, including Collaboration and Communication, Time management, Verbal and written communications, Task completion and meeting deadlines, Attention to detail and application of all relevant codes and standards
Software: Revit (and AutoCAD), Photoshop, Bluebeam, MS Word, Excel, and Core
