Responsibilities

Demonstrate excellent attention to detail throughout the survey process

Assist design team with survey research

Perform property, boundary, topographic, utility, and record surveys as well as construction stakeouts

Assist with survey and courthouse/deed research to complete boundary resolution for property boundaries, rights-of-ways, easements and utilities

Verify accuracy and completeness of survey data, including measurements and calculations. Prepare/transmit data for use by office personnel

Monitor quality and compliance with professional standards and risk management

Ensure that all construction site, foundation, and building layout and staking is accurate by performing various checks both during procedures and upon completion

Transmit data collection into Civil 3D and draft existing conditions, for use by Civil Designers in all Design/Build jobs

Train and mentor other survey team members

Ensure that all survey equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, and that all materials are organized and well stocked
