Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule, either directly or through team, all preventive maintenance activities with maintenance personnel and fermentation and blending departments
Analyze maintenance technician reports and CMMS data to prevent repetition of equipment or system failures
Aurthur Maintenance Department SOP’s, PM’s, Safety Programs, and other relative documents and subsequently train the applicable personnel
Develop and track equipment and maintenance reliability KPIs
Function as Subject Matter Expert for overall equipment design, functionality, preventive maintenance requirements, and spare parts
Lead energy efficiency efforts for the facility
Oversee plant maintenance budget and track maintenance related expenses
Manage complex LOTO and MOC efforts to ensure zero injuries
Ensure P&IDs are reviewed and updated as needed
Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established safety protocols and cGMPs
Qualification
Required
Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology and 5+ years' experience in maintenance and engineering preferably, in a food grade environment a plus
Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
Experience with CMMS management
Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factors
Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance concepts and modern maintenance job organization concepts is required
Ability to read and develop technical drawings
Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
Ability to be CPR/First Aid certified required
Ability to be forklift certified required
Proficiency in CAD
