They are seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and repair conveyor belts and components, while ensuring safety and efficiency in various industrial environments.
Responsibilities
Install new, change out, repair or splice conveyor belt
Demonstrate proper safe use of handling of tools, equipment and materials
Must be mechanically inclined
Follows instructions under the leadership of the Crew Lead to ensure all aspects of the job are covered to avoid any time-consuming delays as well as hazard and/or task training that may be required before the task begins
Ensures equipment is maintained in proper working order to avoid injury and work areas are kept clean/free of hazards which may endanger the health/safety of any employee
Take part of our Conveyor Technician training programs for advancement
Be willing and able to work a variety of schedules on-call, including dayshift, nightshift and weekends
Comply with all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience in the material handling/ conveyor maintenance industry
High School Diploma or GED
Reliable transportation/ Active Driver's License
Very Hands-on mechanically
Millwright experience
Regular and punctual attendance
Ability to travel
Effective communication
Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently
Job duties will be performed underground and on surface, those interested must be able to obtain all applicable Federal and State underground and surface certifications, successfully complete industry approved training courses
Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires
Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check
