This Summer, they are looking for a Process Engineering Intern to support manufacturing systems, process development, and to participate in process improvement and the incorporation of new technologies.

Responsibilities
Assist with the development of new products via NPI (New Product Introduction) or ECN (Engineering Change Notice)
Assist to drive quality and process improvements
Assist with DFM and production launch process
Review and participate in the design of specialized tooling
Suggest alternative solutions and design improvements
Assist in developing and maintaining effective manufacturing processes
Develop and implement process controls that include statistical techniques
Work closely with site engineering and customers to ensure technical information is communicated clearly and promptly
Work with Process and Quality Engineers / Technicians to improve quality
Assist in creating and maintaining technical process manuals and documents used by Engineering or Manufacturing personnel. Also responsible to train personnel in the use of documentation, equipment, and associated processes
Provide status updates to engineering management and other managers concerning progress on assigned activities
Qualification
Required
Junior or Senior level (undergrad) student currently pursuing Engineering degree
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, customer specifications, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to interface with associates to support product designs in a team-based environment
Ability to apply engineering mathematics, algebra, and geometry
Ability to use MS Word/Excel/Publisher
Available to start on May 26th and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment
Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
3.0 minimum GPA
