Ntrepid LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer Technical Lead to provide both hands-on technical leadership and team management for a high-performing DevOps engineering group. The role involves shaping and delivering infrastructure, mentoring team members, and ensuring adherence to engineering standards while collaborating with various teams.

Responsibilities

Lead infrastructure as code and release automation efforts for our core product and supporting components
Mentor and guide team members, fostering both technical and professional growth
Partner with Product and Platform teams to align priorities, timelines, and deliverables
Collaborate with senior engineers to design scalable, secure, and reliable solutions
Contribute to the code base and actively participate in code reviews
Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices
Provide tier 3 production support as necessary
Coordinate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and progress reporting

Required

US Citizenship is required
Strong professional experience with infrastructure as code automation and testing framework automation, particularly Ansible and Molecule
Proven experience in technical leadership within a DevOps engineering environment
In-depth understanding of infrastructure design patterns, system architecture, and best practices
Hands-on experience with scripting (Bash/Python), Terraform, AWS Deployments, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, GitHub)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Preferred

Experience leading hybrid or remote teams
Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs), as well as SD-WAN, and network encryption
Exposure to observability best practices (monitoring, logging, alerting)
Prior experience delivering solutions for government programs or contracts
