Program Manager, Dual Enrollment
Prince George's Community College is seeking a Program Manager for Dual Enrollment to provide strategic leadership and oversight for Early College Access initiatives. Responsibilities
Provides strategic leadership and management of all Early College Access Programs, including Dual Enrollment, Concurrent Enrollment, and Underage Talented and Gifted initiatives, in collaboration with the Program Director, internal departments, and external partners
Serves as a principal point of contact for students, families, school counselors, and community partners, ensuring effective communication, support, and engagement throughout the student experience
Leads efforts to grow the Dual Enrollment population through targeted outreach, partnership development, and collaborative recruitment strategies
Oversees the full student enrollment cycle including application, processing, verification, and confirmation while ensuring compliance, data integrity, and operational efficiency
Coordinates collaboration among key offices including Records and Registration, Testing, Advising, Student Accounts, and Enterprise Technology to provide a seamless enrollment experience
Manages program technology, serving as the lead functional user for the Course Maven Dual Enroll platform and recommending system enhancements to improve processes and reporting
Provides training and guidance to staff, recruitment teams, and school-based partners to ensure effective program administration and consistent communication
Develops and executes marketing, outreach, and event strategies to recruit, enroll, and support students in collaboration with Recruitment and Admissions
Advises prospective and current students, manages an assigned caseload, and conducts periodic school audits to ensure quality, compliance, and program integrity
Collaborates with school counselors and educational partners to review student records, monitor progress, and deliver professional development that strengthens program implementation
Collects and analyzes trend data to evaluate program performance, measure outcomes, and recommend improvements for greater operational effectiveness. Maintains current knowledge of best practices in early college access, enrollment management, and student development and ensures compliance with MOUs and institutional policies
Represents the College at local, state, and national events to promote early college access and support professional development and advocacy efforts
Supervises assigned staff, fostering professional growth, accountability, and operational excellence
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Three to five years of experience in higher education student recruitment, academic advisement, and/or secondary education
Excellent personal management skills to handle multiple projects at once, often working independently with little or no supervision
Strong communication, organizational skills and project management aptitude
Knowledge of and ability to communicate college policies and procedures to stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and strong decision-making skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to stated deadlines
Ability to travel to and from schools and events
Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
Ability to collaborate with internal and external constituents for program development and execution
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, college student information systems, and other technologies or software required for all aspects of enrollment and reporting
Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written standard English
As required by the 1986 Immigration Act, be prepared to present acceptable documentation showing your identity and that you are a U.S. citizen or an alien who is authorized to work
A background investigation will be conducted prior to the offer of employment. A signed authorization for the release of personal information will be required if selected for an interview
