The role involves traveling to different states for several months to perform tasks such as securing data, dismantling equipment, and conducting final walkthroughs.

Secure and wipe data
Dismantle and remove equipment
Inventory assets
Dispose of assets
Remove furniture and junk
Perform repairs
Conduct a final walkthrough
Return keys

Qualification

Telecommunications supportFiber Optics experienceTelecommunications equipment loginTest equipment experienceMicrosoft Excel proficiency

Required

Several years of experience working in central offices
Hands-on experience providing telecommunications support
Submit to a drug, background, and DMV test

Preferred

Ability to log into telecommunications equipment like DWDM, SONET, Routers, Switches, MUXes
Fiber Optics experience (Running jumpers, clean fiber)
Experience with test equipment (OTDRs, test sets...)
Proficient with Microsoft Excel
