They are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Intern to join their R&D Engineering team, where the intern will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the design, prototyping, and testing of advanced engineering modules.

Responsibilities
Work in a fast-paced cross-functional, technologically advanced dynamic environment in an internship program focused on developing individual engineers capable of pursuing careers in any realm of engineering
Improve your industry knowledge through a collaborative work environment
Design, prototype, build, and test modules with mechanical, fluidic, electrical, and controls componentry
Improve existing designs to be more reliable, repeatable, manufacturable and serviceable
Maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade instruments and test benches
Develop, optimize, and automate laboratory processes, including scripting and implementation of on-instrument automation workflows
Qualification
Required
Currently a student in an accredited degree program pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Biomedical/Bioengineering, Physics, Optical Engineering or closely related disciplines
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
Ability to work onsite, work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 8 weeks during summer 2026
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment
Great work ethic and an enthusiasm for problem-solving
Good presentation, writing and communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
