CommuniCare is focused on ensuring the validity and accuracy of patient data in Health Outcomes Centers. The Clinical Data Coordinator I will manage data collection, track patient status, and provide customer service while collaborating with medical providers and pharmacy teams.

Responsibilities

Work closely with medical providers and pharmacy teams to ensure prior authorization approval for specialty medications

Manage the tracking and collection of clinical data from multiple sources

Maintain accurate patient status tracking through HIPAA compliant electronic databases

Respond to phone calls from patients, medical providers and clinical staff members in a timely fashion

Conduct patient outreach calls

Capture patient data using registry-specific case report forms (CRFs)

Review and answer queries regarding case report forms (CRFs) within a timely fashion

Prepare for next day clinic by identifying appointment types and chart preparation. Updates pre-registering patients and screening patients for program eligibility

Manage patient enrollment and report issues to HOC Director

Escalate major issues with study sites or patients to HOC Director

Provide exceptional customer service internally and externally. Greets each customer with appropriate introduction. Address concerns prior to end of interaction. Assists with other departments as needed

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum One (1) Year Experience In Healthcare Required

Customer service skills required

Data Entry Experience Required

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field highly desirable

Medical Office Experience Preferred

Experience With EMR/EHR Preferred

Experience with prior authorization preferred

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
