The Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing will lead the procurement strategy and operations, ensuring efficient acquisition of goods and services while managing vendor relationships and driving cost savings.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals

Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives to optimize solutions for cost, quality, and delivery

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (engineering, project delivery, legal) to align contract terms with business and technical objectives

Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation (e.g. technologies) and improvement (e.g. efficiency and/or performance)

Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors

Lead and support RFP processes for major suppliers, including hardware, software or services (e.g. EPC, O&M) in support projects, or existing assets

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure favorable outcomes

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Oversee procurement operations including purchase orders, approvals, and inventory controls

Implement procurement systems and tools to streamline processes

Monitor KPIs and prepare reports for senior leadership

Identify and mitigate supply chain risks

Ensure business continuity through supplier diversification and contingency planning
