Responsibilities
Review business requirements and identify areas to be tested
Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts
Define, collect, and document data for testing
Identify, log and review defects
Maintain and retire test cases and test scripts at the end of the work effort
Maintain traceability between test cases/scripts and requirements
Ensure that all testing results are documented and easily accessible
Provide execution results to Product Analysts and Product Owner
Ensure that the team follows the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach
Review test, validation, and pilot results with Test Lead to ensure that they meet the entry and exit criteria
Build user documents and script maintenance instructions for automation and performance testing scripts
Qualification
Required
5-10 years of experience
Experience in reviewing business requirements and identifying areas to be tested
Ability to develop test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts
Experience in defining, collecting, and documenting data for testing
Ability to identify, log and review defects
Experience in maintaining and retiring test cases and test scripts at the end of the work effort
Ability to maintain traceability between test cases/scripts and requirements
Experience in ensuring that all testing results are documented and easily accessible
Ability to provide execution results to Product Analysts and Product Owner
Experience in ensuring that the team follows the testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach
Ability to review test, validation, and pilot results with Test Lead to ensure that they meet the entry and exit criteria
Experience in building user documents and script maintenance instructions for automation and performance testing scripts
JIRA experience
Familiarity with Agile frameworks
Excel/CSV manipulation for testing
Strong troubleshooting skills for communications technology and integrations
Preferred
JIRA experience preferred
Agile Frameworks/Ceremonies experience
qTest experience preferred
Excel (csv) experience with building and properly formatting files for testing
HTML or prior digital communications channel experience preferred
Ability to quickly learn communications applications and technology
Ability to quickly learn process flows and integrations necessary for the path of communications
Ability to troubleshoot issues with digital communications and the associated technology
