The Senior Financial Analyst will support the OptumRx Discount Reconciliation team in generating client discount reconciliations and collaborating with various teams to improve outcomes and maximize client profitability.

Responsibilities
Perform complex client pricing reconciliations through contract interpretation, financial modeling, and data analysis in support of OptumRx's client pricing commitments for 3,000 + clients
Interface with account management, contract management, pharmacy accounting, and legal teams in support of meeting client contractual pricing commitments and influencing change in future client contracts
Collaborate with key business partners across the organization to develop, recommend and establish strategies, plans and processes to improve outcomes and maximize client profitability
Deliver timely client reconciliations based upon contractual turnaround times and requests submitted by account management
Prepare month end, and quarter close business performance reports, including variance explanations and forward-looking performance estimates
Support Client Audit teams in responding to audit inquires and request with ad-hoc analysis and reporting utilizing various systems and tools such as SAS, Databricks, SQL, and Tableau
Seeks out new opportunities for continuous improvement and efficiency
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Must be 18 years of age or older
3+ years of experience with analytics
3+ years of experience managing big data sets and financial modeling
3+ years of experience reviewing contracts from a financial standpoint
Experience driving business performance in a high growth environment
Executive presence, communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to build solid relationships at all levels, work collaboratively and influence across a matrix environment
Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
Ability to work full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm CST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime
Preferred
PBM experience
SAS and SQL experience
Quantitative and analytical skills, complimented by an entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset
Success functioning in a dynamic professional environment where the responsibilities change regularly
Experience using Microsoft PowerBI, Databrick, Tableau
