Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage a contract-compliant Quality Control Plan (QCP)
Serve as the primary point of contact with Government QA Representatives
Conduct and document Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up Inspections for all definable features of work
Ensure compliance with contract drawings, specifications, codes, and approved submittals
Maintain and update RMS and QCS, including submittals, daily reports, testing documentation, and deficiency tracking
Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain quality standards
Identify deficiencies, implement corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution
Review and verify all inspections, testing results, and certifications
Maintain organized, accurate quality documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Support enforcement of EM 385-1-1 safety requirements as they relate to quality activities

Required

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quality Control Manager on federal construction projects
CQM-C (Construction Quality Management for Contractors) certification required
Demonstrated experience on NAVFAC and or USACE projects
Strong working knowledge of RMS and QCS
Ability to interpret and enforce contract documents, plans, specifications, and submittals
Experience coordinating directly with Government QA personnel
Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
OSHA 30-Hour certification or ability to obtain prior to project start

Preferred

Experience on design-build, vertical, civil, or infrastructure federal projects
Familiarity with NAVFAC P-Series and USACE construction standards
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
Additional quality or construction certifications a plus
