The role involves managing project delivery processes, coordinating with stakeholders, and overseeing consultant procurement for multiple transportation projects.

Responsibilities
Provides day to day management of GPATS and Greenville and Pickens CTCs
Manages project delivery process for multiple projects, including scoping, schedules and budgets, for both in-house and consultant projects
Coordinates project-related issues with internal and external stakeholders
Evaluates options and determine appropriate path forward
Prepares correspondence and periodic (monthly) project/program updates, including monitoring and updating P2S and Internet webpage
Manages public involvement process, including conducting public information meetings and public hearings
Prepares and delivers presentations to MPO and civic organizations
Manages consultant procurement process, including selection, scoping, cost estimating and negotiation
Serves as point of contact for the consultant and provide oversight throughout project development
Acts on behalf of the Program Manager when necessary
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science and Management
Four (4) years of engineering or construction management work experience
An approved acceptable equivalence
A valid motor vehicle operator's license
Ability to manage project delivery process for multiple projects, including scoping, schedules and budgets
Ability to coordinate project-related issues with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to evaluate options and determine appropriate path forward
Ability to prepare correspondence and periodic (monthly) project/program updates
Ability to manage public involvement process, including conducting public information meetings and public hearings
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations to MPO and civic organizations
Ability to manage consultant procurement process, including selection, scoping, cost estimating and negotiation
Ability to serve as point of contact for the consultant and provide oversight throughout project development
Ability to act on behalf of the Program Manager when necessary
Ability to perform other related duties as assigned
Ability to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods of time
Ability to travel occasionally
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, climb, balance, and kneel
Ability to walk for extended periods, tread rough terrain, work in close proximity to motoring traffic, and in natural environmental hazards
Ability to work outside normal business hours or respond to emergency situations
