Responsibilities
Remove network cables as part of data center decommissioning
Run, label, and stage power and networking cables
Perform DBD removal (no scanning required)
Follow documented procedures for:
+ Preparing, installing, and performing diagnostics
+ Troubleshooting and replacing hardware
+ Decommissioning equipment under guidance from Leads
Stage, set up, and perform basic startups/shutdowns for hardware
Conduct physical audits of data center assets
Monitor systems for equipment failures or performance errors
Respond to program error messages and assist in debugging
Operate spreadsheet and other software tools to manage data and generate reports
Qualification
Required
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
Preferred
Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training
Industry certifications (A+, etc.) are a plus
Experience with Hyperscale Data Centers highly desirable
