Electro-Mechanical Technician

AVNA is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems. The role requires a solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical principles to ensure optimal operation, safety, and efficiency of machinery and production systems.

Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including motors, sensors, pumps, control panels, and automation systems
Install new machinery, wiring, control systems, and mechanical components according to technical drawings, schematics, and safety standards
Test and calibrate components to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and document maintenance activities to reduce downtime
Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions quickly using diagnostic tools and technical documentation
Follow electrical codes, mechanical safety procedures, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment
Maintain accurate service records, repair logs, and maintenance reports
Work closely with engineers, machine operators, and production teams to support continuous improvement and system reliability

Required

Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field
Equivalent work experience may be considered
2–5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair (industrial or manufacturing environment preferred)
Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, PLCs, sensors, drives, and control systems
Proficiency with mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Familiarity with diagnostic and testing tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, vibration analyzers, etc.)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Good communication and documentation skills
Commitment to safety and quality standards

Preferred

2–5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, or repair (industrial or manufacturing environment preferred)
