Responsibilities
A clear understanding of industry best installation practices related to fiber/copper structured cabling systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and documentation
Knowledge of hardware components regarding network, storage, security and carrier circuit equipment
Minimum of 7 years’ experience working in a data center, NOC or similar critical systems environments
The ability to monitor and control daily service ticket activity, prioritizing multiple tasks
Proficiency with managing information in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace (Excel, Outlook, Visio, Google Sheets, Chat, Docs, etc.)
Above average communication skills (both verbal and written)
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong attention to detail
Basic knowledge and experience with critical facilities systems/topology (Electrical, HVAC, Mechanical, and Controls)
The ability to work completely independently, while at times delegating task to other individuals
