Responsibilities
Manage Dental Claims: Prepare and submit dental claims daily, including detailed narratives and necessary attachments to expedite payment
Posting Payments: Accurately post payments from both patients and insurance companies
Claims Tracing/Follow-Up: Investigate unpaid or denied claims and collaborate with insurers to resolve issues promptly
Patient Support: Send patient statements and assist with billing inquiries, explaining insurance coverage and out-of-pocket costs
Recordkeeping: Run reports and maintain precise and up-to-date patient billing records for compliance
Team Collaboration: Work closely with 2-3 office teams to ensure efficient AR processes and revenue cycle operations
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years in dental coding and billing
Proficiency in Dentrix
Proficiency in Excel
Strong understanding of dental insurance policies, limitations, exclusions, EOBs, and electronic claims submission
Detail-oriented team player who communicates effectively with both patients and insurance companies
High school diploma or equivalent is required
