Responsibilities
Configure and manage service applications (Search Service, User Profile Service, Managed Metadata, etc.), web applications/site collections, and content databases
Assist SharePoint Development team for platform specific activities associated with tools and frameworks such as Visual Studio, C#/NET, ASP.NET, and the SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
Assist SharePoint development team with SharePoint object models SharePoint Development team - server-side (for on-prem) and client-side (CSOM/JSOM for remote/Online development) – and REST APIs for SharePoint
Demonstrate knowledge to support Development team in building client-side solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript and libraries like jQuery or React within SharePoint
Perform scripting and automation associated with SharePoint platform services. Using tools like PowerShell, and PnP
Assist Development team in workflow and Forms Development using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Third-Party Workflow automation tools like Nintex
Assist Development team in replacing or upgrading legacy InfoPath forms/workflows with modern equivalents, Optimizing, and troubleshooting workflow performance and errors
Support Microsoft echo system integration with SharePoint using services like, Azure AD for Authentication, Azure AD premium for IAM Governance, OneDrive profile storage, Intune for device management, M365 for MS business suite, etc
Assist network team troubleshooting issues with systems like, DNS, Load Balancer, and Firewall associated with SharePoint
Assist development team in debugging custom code, analyzing ULS log files, identifying performance issues using diagnostic tools (Developer Dashboard, Fiddler, browser dev tools for front-end issues) and systematically isolating root causes
Suggest and manage the SharePoint best practices focusing design patterns, and taxonomies
Use Agile/Scrum methodologies while carrying out SharePoint enhancements, and Service requests
Document SharePoint procedures, proposals, and training materials and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in SharePoint administration (on-prem and/or online)
Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, services, and topology
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and hybrid environments
Understanding of SQL Server, IIS, and Windows Server administration
Preferred
Experience with Nintex workflows, SPFX, and Power Platform is a plus 1
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-301, MS-500, AZ-104) preferred
