Responsibilities

Work with your peers and clients to understand meeting goals, flow and space requirements. Send RFPs to properties that will be a great fit and field responses. You have a solid understanding of US cities and have experience working in a multicultural environment

Vet viable options and make recommendations. Prepare presentations as applicable. Be consultative in your approach

Use your existing contacts and build new relationships with clients, vendors, NSMs, CVBs and sales teams

Negotiate the best deals for our clients. Understand client needs, procurement practices, norms and expectations. Ensure no detail is left out

Be nimble, problem solve and get creative. Afterall, the venue can make or break the event (and budget!)

Managing additional administrative duties, including but not limited to: commission collection, qualifying incoming meeting requests, general mail box monitoring, managing special projects (client surveys, quarterly newsletters). Administrative duties are estimated to be up to 50% of the role
