Responsibilities
Matches invoices to purchase orders to verify information on all items submitted for payment
Verifies charges and payment terms
Enters data into the financial system from source documents to ensure the accurate and timely payment of the Company’s obligations
Responds to basic inquiries from vendors, management, and team members regarding invoices or payments
Interacts with vendors and various internal groups to resolve the most basic problems concerning discrepant, incomplete, or conflicting invoices
Assists with maintaining current vendor information in the financial system files
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED equivalency required
Basic PC skills in a Windows environment required
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to read, comprehend, and compose simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to team members, vendors, and other employees of the organization
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations
Ability to handle tasks with concentration, speed, and accuracy to meet deadlines
Ability to maintain professionalism in accordance with Company standards
Must be an effective team member
Preferred
Experience in SAP is preferred
