Maintenance Repairman 2 - Region 1 (Philadelphia Area)
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Maintenance Repairman 2 for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB). This role involves performing skilled maintenance and repair work across various trades to ensure the upkeep of facilities in the assigned region.

Responsibilities
Perform skilled work in a variety of trades in order to prepare, repair, and maintain assigned region, of the Bureau of Store Infrastructure Development
Work independently as well as assist other workers in performing various maintenance related duties to the interior and exterior of leased premises in order to ensure safe and attractive facilities
Perform general maintenance, such as carpentry, electrical, read blueprints and schematics, paint, lay flooring, plumbing and report ongoing work progress
Using a variety of construction and maintenance equipment and tools to complete assigned tasks
Operate a variety of maintenance vehicles for transporting equipment, supplies, and materials throughout the region
Qualification
Required
Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities
You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
You must meet the PA residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
