Responsibilities
Process invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and adherence to company policies and procedures
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
Prepare and process electronic payments, including ACH and wire transfers, as well as check runs
Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment-related inquiries and issues
Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable files and records
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of accounts payable workflows
Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance department
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred
2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within a corporate environment
Understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable best practices
Proficient use of Excel
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Knowledge of NetSuite is a plus
