Responsibilities
Lead projects/teams including creation and management of project plans in alignment with overall program goals
Monitor and manage the coordination of activities within a team, implement policies and execute plans
Proactively anticipate and understand concerns/issues delays in the project/implementation of plans and develop risk assessment and contingency plans
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment between multiple teams
Ensure all projects and tasks are executed within predefined timelines and budgets in compliance with all applicable standards & regulations
Mentor and guide team members and ensure they have all the resources required, to complete their assigned tasks
Engage in hiring, performance management, and other people processes
Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution
Maintains regular and predictable attendance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computational or related life-science field required
Minimum Requirement: 5+ progressive years of experience in Computational Sciences
Proven performance in earlier role/comparable role
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Experience managing at least 1-2 people preferred
Extensive experience leading projects/processes end to end including resource and vendor management, and communication and collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and external partners preferred
Masters or PhD in a public health or life-science field preferred
Experience with SQL and Access databases preferred
Experience with SAS, Power BI, Access database management, SQL, and Epic reporting tools preferred
