Responsibilities

Lead hotel pricing and yield strategies across all channels and segments, ensuring alignment with company pricing philosophy and revenue objectives
Develop, execute, and communicate strategic revenue plans using available systems to manage accurate and effective selling strategies
Analyze and monitor performance across all distribution channels (Internet, GDS, CRO, Consortia, Wholesale, etc.) while maintaining rate parity
Partner with the Director of Sales to create and approve competitive and engaging rate strategies for group, business travel, wholesale, and contracted segments
Collaborate with Group Sales and Catering to establish space release policies, catering minimums, and selling strategies aligned with revenue goals
Proactively manage hotel inventory to optimize revenue across Rooms, Function Space, and Food & Beverage outlets
Assess room inventory performance and implement corrective actions through promotions, restrictions, and policy management
Prepare accurate weekly and monthly day-by-day forecasts for transient and group business based on sales and event services input
Provide actionable data analysis on business segments, account production, channel performance, market mix, room type demand, and geographic trends
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer behavior to recommend pricing, inventory, and selling strategies
Ensure accurate and compelling hotel representation across brand websites and third-party distribution platforms
Support development of transient and group room budgets and contribute to the hotel’s overall marketing plan
Define booking terms, conditions, and allotments in partnership with Sales for all transient and group segments
Analyze weekly and monthly market share and RevPAR performance to identify opportunities and ensure competitive positioning
Collaborate with on-property and corporate marketing teams to drive digital marketing initiatives and optimize direct e-commerce performance
Develop and execute 3-, 6-, and 12-month strategic action plans to drive transient revenue growth
Oversee reservations department performance, including conversion efficiency, Navis leads, abandoned carts, and overall selling effectiveness
Manage and evaluate reservations agents’ and supervisors’ performance to maximize conversion and revenue outcomes
Identify and yield topline revenue opportunities across all revenue-generating outlets, including Rooms, F&B, Spa, Recreation, Parking, and ancillary services
Conduct revenue per unit analysis, menu engineering, competitive benchmarking, and trend analysis to drive incremental revenue
Develop creative packages, seasonal offers, and promotional strategies to maximize revenue potential
Partner with department leaders to create and implement SOPs as needed, ensuring execution and accountability through hands-on follow-through
