They are seeking a highly capable and experienced Finance Controller to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
Lead Financial Operations: Take full ownership of the company's financial accounting functions
Manage Accounting Staff: Oversee and guide our current accounting team, including staff working via PenBrothers, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output
Month-End/Year-End Close: Manage and execute the timely and accurate closing of our financial books
Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive and accurate financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements)
External Accountant Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact and interface with our external accounting and auditing partners, ensuring smooth collaboration and timely delivery of required information
Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting processes and financial controls
Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Finance Controller or in a similar senior accounting management role
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and mentor an accounting team, including remote staff
Expertise in month-end and year-end close processes
Strong experience in preparing accurate financial statements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners (accountants, auditors)
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems
