Responsibilities
Serve as the overall technical program management leader for future submarine propulsion plant design
Support VCS, SSNX, SSNA, and other nuclear propulsion design efforts
Responsible for task execution, planning, and conducting program activities to the highest standards
Maintain regular communication and coordination between other NNS technical managers, GDEB program and technical leaders, NNL, NR, and vendors
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience; PhD and 4 years of relevant experience
Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
US Citizenship Required for this Position: Yes
Clearance Required: Yes- Final Clearance Required to Start
Travel Requirement: Yes, 10%-25% of the time
