The role involves implementing data security standards, developing enterprise data security solutions, and conducting risk assessments to mitigate potential threats.

Information Technology & Services

Responsibilities

Establish and implement robust standards and criteria for data security requirements
Design, develop, deploy, and manage cutting-edge enterprise data security solutions, including data loss prevention, encryption, cloud data protection, and governance compliance
Leverage in-depth understanding of DLP, Data Discovery, Classification, Encryption, Masking, Tagging, and Governance
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential data security threats, including third-party cyber risks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy data protection measures and best practices
Provide expert guidance on data privacy management and risk mitigation techniques
Ensure KPIs related to data security are accurately tracked and reported
Monitor and respond to data security incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed
Regularly review data security policies and standards, providing input and recommendations to enhance and adapt to changing regulations and industry best practices
Utilize strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, information technology, computer information systems, MIS, or engineering is preferred
A combination of associate degree, military or professional cybersecurity experience, and cybersecurity certification (CISSP, GAIC, MCSE, CEH, GICSP, CSSA, CISM) will be considered
2 years of experience in cybersecurity

Preferred

5 years of experience in data engineering or database designs/architectures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Cybersecurity certification (CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CCSP, GAIC, MCSE, GICSP, CSSA)
Active Directory Design and Management
Cloud expertise with Azure, AWS, GCP
Scripting experience in PowerShell or .NET (VB or C#)
Security Operations Center (SOC)
Data security proficiency
Network Access Management, DNS, DHCP
