As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing food production facilities, ensuring compliance with USDA, FDA, and customer standards while working in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and work areas in assigned sections of the plant
Dismantle and reassemble equipment to ensure thorough cleaning
Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow all usage guidelines
Inspect equipment and areas to confirm readiness for pre-op inspections
Follow all company and regulatory safety protocols, including Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE, and HAZCOMM
Work efficiently to complete sanitation tasks within established timelines
Maintain open communication with teammates, supervisors, and plant staff
Support team members and assist with additional duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Willingness to perform physical work (bending, scrubbing, lifting, using hoses and equipment)
Ability to work on your feet for the entire shift in hot, cold, wet, or noisy environments
Dependability and a positive attitude
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality
No prior sanitation experience required — training provided
Preferred
Prior experience in sanitation, food processing, or industrial cleaning
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
