Office Assistant/HR

Miller's Merry Manor is seeking an Office Assistant to support their team in a fast-paced environment. The role involves welcoming visitors, directing phone calls, and providing clerical support while assisting the Business Office Manager and interacting with patients, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

Answer telephone and direct calls to appropriate dept
Greet visitors, staff and residents in a friendly, professional manner
Watch and assist with wandering residents
Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby area
Sell employee and visitor meal tickets
Update appropriate department head on significant happenings
Initiate process for telephone and walk in inquires
Type, file, and make copies as needed
Inventory office supplies and order as needed
Maintain resident directory
Complete other tasks as assigned by Office Manager or Administrator
Coordinating with new hires/onboarding
Light clerical duties
Participating in HR meetings
Managing employee records

Required

Successfully complete pre-employment process and screening
Able to pass physical examination given in behalf of gainful employment within the facility
Satisfactorily pass through required orientation and training
Be able to follow written and/or verbal instructions

Preferred

Have good organizational and communication skills
Are passionate about delivering excellent customer service
Are professional in appearance and behavior
Previous experience with multi-line phone systems and common office equipment
Previous receptionist/front desk representative experience
