Responsibilities

Performing GrayMatter services to meet client needs, with a specific focus on DCS control systems
Designing, developing, and implementing automated process solutions for chemical manufacturing facilities
Be an active project team contributor for projects of all sizes
Assisting in project development and planning
Performing onsite start-up, troubleshooting, and commissioning assistance
Required pre-employment drug screen and background check
This position requires occasional, but not extensive, travel

Required

Bachelor's Degree in an applicable field (ChE, EE, EET, ME, MET or comparable). An equivalent combination of experience and training may also be considered
Experience with ABB 800xA distributed control system (DCS)
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with DCS platforms (ABB, Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell, Schneider/Foxboro, etc.)
PLC platforms experience preferred (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, Siemens, etc.)
Field start-up, troubleshooting, and commissioning
Working knowledge of process systems and pressure, temperature, flow control, and loop tuning
Understanding of Electrical Schematics, instrumentation, and control concepts
Control Systems implementation, design, installs, testing, and troubleshooting
Acute attention to detail and process, Strong ability to solve problems and research solutions with an excellent customer service attitude

Preferred

DOWTRAN/MOD5 programming and/or hardware experience
AutoCAD or Drafting experience
Networking experience (Ethernet IP, Modbus, etc.)
