Director of Program Operations, Professional Development

The Director of Program Operations, Professional Development will oversee program operations, mentor program managers, and foster professional relationships with children and families in the assigned county area.

Responsibilities
Provide program oversight and direction with a specific county area, ensuring that program operations are of high caliber
Foster the leadership abilities of program managers through reflective supervision and one-on-one coaching and mentoring
Lead and model professionalism and teamwork within the county team and the agency by developing and maintaining supportive, professional relationships with children and their families
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (with at least 18 hours in ECE) from an accredited college/university recognized by the US Dept. of Education
5+ years experience working with children (birth-5) and management experience
Ability to be CPR certified and acquire a Class E License
Physically be able to lift at least 50 pounds, able to lift/carry children when appropriate
Must be mobile, able to get up and down from floor, stand and sit on floor within the classroom/socialization environment
Preferred
Experience with Head Start Performance Standards
Experience with Missouri Licensing Regulations
Experience with Infant/Toddler Responsive Care
Experience with Creative Curriculum
