Responsibilities
Performs normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail
Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures
Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisors assignment
May take and transcribe dictation
Distributing mail; managing conference rooms; managing computer equipment and phones; managing calendars; scheduling and coordinating events; organizing and maintaining hardcopy and electronic files and records retention; coordinating travel; submitting payroll requests; maintaining company assets (e.g., vehicles, trailers, cameras); coordinating storm preparation activities; working with Facilities Coordinator to maintain office area; ordering office supplies; developing agendas & recording meeting minutes; reviewing and formatting letters, memos, procedures, and reports; and distributing and retaining official correspondence
Qualification
Required
High School/GED and 0 years of additional education and/or experience
Basic computer skills, including typing and using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to climb stairs daily and occasionally move typical office equipment (such as file boxes and computer monitors)
Ability to walk through production zones with appropriate personal protective equipment (hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes)
Preferred
Able to learn and use other software, including but not limited to Microsoft SharePoint and PowerPoint
Good written and verbal communication skills
