Responsibilities

Provide technical oversight of design, development, and integration of system components to deliver a functioning quantum computing platform
Translate system objectives into traceable component requirements
Work with other hardware and software teams to ensure all components can be integrated into a functional and performant system
Document system configurations and integration processes

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in hardware system integration
5 years of experience in hardware systems engineering, integration and testing
5 years of experience with integrating multiple custom technologies into a functioning system

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP)
Experience building and operating quantum computing systems
Experience troubleshooting complex electrical/thermal/mechanical systems
Experience translating technical objectives into component functional and performance requirements
Ability to travel as needed
